Customer Support

  • PART-TIME CUSTOMER SUPPORT (Non-Technical)

    Authentium's Customer Support department has immediate opportunities for a number of part-time customer telephone support agents. This position will have full responsibility for answering and prioritizing inbound customer telephone calls and routing them to our customer technical support team. If you are a stay-at-home parent, student, or otherwise interested in flexible hours (20-25 hrs/week) and schedules in a location that is less than a block from the Jupiter beach, this may be for you!     Experience:

    • Some experience dealing with customers, either in person or via the telephone.
    • 1-3 years experience using a MS Windows-based PC.
    • Knowledge of word-processing and spreadsheet programs a plus.

    Duties:
    • Answers all incoming telephone calls from customers seeking service assistance.
    • Using an online database, searches for user information and qualifies customer's entitlement to support.
    • Opens and assigns trouble ticket numbers to incoming calls and directs the calls to the appropriate technician.
    • May set appointments for follow-up phone calls using PC based software tools.
    • May prioritize calls based on previously determined criteria.
    • May make outbound telephone calls to customers to check on status and to schedule follow-up calls.

    Qualifications:
    • Excellent Communication Skills - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; strong listening skills, responds appropriately to customer questions.
    • Good analytic skills with the ability to prioritize calls based on importance.
    • Good keyboarding and typing skills.
    • Ability to function effectively in a fast paced work environment.
    • Ability to tactfully deal with and resolve conflicting demands from users for service.

Sales and Marketing

Quality Assurance

  • SOFTWARE TESTER

    Leading-edge software development company located in Jupiter, Florida has an immediate opportunity for a Software Quality Assurance Analyst. Working closely with our team of expert developers, this position will have full responsibility for design and development of test plans, test cases, test scripts, test schedules and providing Level III product support to our internal technical support team.

    Experience:
    Minimum of 1 - 3+ years commercial employment as a software tester with hands-on expertise in:

    • Performing tests, documenting results, and provide feedback to developers, tech support reps, and senior management.
    • Broad range of Microsoft product expertise Australialuding Windows 3.x/9.x/ME/NT/2000/XP, Exchange 5.5 & 2000, MSI Install, etc.
    • Strong PC workstation/Server hardware knowledge for building and configuring test systems and test infrastructure.
    • Network administration experience with Microsoft, Novell, and Linux/Unix networks.
    • Ability to program in various scripting languages such as Visual Basic a plus.

    Desired Skills:
    • Full product life-cycle, change control, and Bug reporting/tracking expertise.

    • Linux/Unix administration; Lotus Notes; Novell Groupwise.

    Certifications:
    Not required, but considered “plus” credentials, in the following order of importance: MCSE, CSQA , CSTE, MCP+Internet, MCDBA.

    Education:
    Prefer individual with 4-yr. IT/IS/Programming related degree. QA experience with alternate degree may substitute for IT degree.

  • TECHNICAL TRAINER

    Minimum of 1 - 3+ years commercial employment as a Technical Trainer with hands-on expertise in:

    • Interacting with customers and internal staff to establish training requirements for proposed classes and programs.

    • Delivering lectures on installation, configuration, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our full product line.

  • TECHNICAL SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE

Many of our customers have technical backgrounds and expect to deal with a tech support team that is experienced in both the Command AntiVirus product line as well as various workstation, server, and network operating systems.     Job Description:

    • Primarily provide telephone & e-mail technical support to customers.
    • Install & configure test systems & servers to research and solve customer problems.
    • Assist the sales team with product and pre-sales technical questions.
    • Support new releases and products such as XP, Exchange 2000, Linux, Microsoft ".NET", etc.
    • Assist with product quality assurance testing.
    • Writing FAQs and/or technical "white papers".

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    Knowledge and Skills:
