Galileo Setup and Installation Tips for Netware deployment
Galileo COMMANDCentral and Command AntiVirus 4.90 are compatible with Netware. The same functionality as COMMANDCentral 4.75 exists in the new release. You can deploy configurations using a Netware login script.

This guide is intended for Network Administrators and technical staff, it is not end-user documentation

* It is important to note that Galileo and the previous version of COMMANDCentral cannot co-exist on the same workstation/server. Galileo MUST be installed on a 2000 workstation/server or higher or on an XP workstation.

Instructions for Deploying CSAV 4.9 via a Netware Login script:

You must first install Galileo and create your administrative installation with the latest def files.

Make sure you have configured Galileo and set up your scheduled tasks to regularly download and apply your def files. Once you have deployed CSAV 4.9 via login scripts, your workstations will look to your administrative installation for any future def file updates.

Add the following to your login scripts (please note that all of your users must have at least Read rights to this location):
\\Server_name\shared_folder_name \setup.exe /d ADV_CMDLINE="/t custom.mst" TRANSFORMS=custom.mst NO_GUIAPPS=1
"\\Server_name\shared_folder_name" is the path where you have created the administrative installation in Galileo.
